Welcome to my online blog and portfolio! My name is Alex Fedosov and I am a Software Engineer passionate about bringing ideas to life and empowering teammates through engineering. I have a Bachelor degree in Computer Science. I’m currently running my own game development company named SizeOf Games and online IT school named SizeOf School.
I started as Macromedia Flash MX animator when I was 9 y.o. Then I realized that games can be made with the same software and I started to learn ActionScript 2.0. Years later I moved from Flash to the Unity 3D. With Unity I finished development of my first games. For the past 10 years, I have been working as a Gameplay Developer specializing in Unreal Engine, using both C++ and Blueprints.
Software Development has been a significant part of my life from a young age, and the idea of collaborating with a talented team excites me. I am deeply passionate about all aspects of game programming and development, including UI, gameplay programming, networking, AI, and engine programming. While I consider myself primarily a gameplay programmer, I thrive on the unique challenges that game development offers.
C++ is my strongest programming language, but I firmly believe that mastering the fundamentals of software engineering makes adapting to new languages seamless. I enjoy tackling unfamiliar challenges and finding innovative ways to empower others to solve complex problems.
